About Trust and Management
Selecting a trustee or investment manager is an important decision. Exchange Bank received its trust powers from the State of California in 1963, and we’ve been providing valuable trust services to our community ever since.
Exchange Bank employs a highly-trained staff with years of experience—people who are sensitive to the needs and expectations of their clients and advisors.
Your investments will be managed by Exchange Bank’s investment specialists. We will shape an investment strategy and make decisions based upon your goals and risk tolerance, or based upon the terms of your trust. Our philosophy embraces low costs, utilizing institutional investment vehicles which help to increase returns for our clients.
Sometimes family interests conflict. When Exchange Bank is acting as trustee, we have a duty of impartiality. We are a neutral third party and will never favor one beneficiary over another. It is our responsibility to follow the terms of your trust and help resolve conflicts without taking sides.
Exchange Bank is always close at hand, with a team of professionals to meet your needs. Accounts are staffed with a trust officer and an investment officer, and supported by an administrative assistant. All administration is done locally. Rest assured that there will always be someone available that knows your account and is able to assist you.
As a state-chartered financial institution, you can take comfort in knowing that our actions are subject to periodic reviews by independent auditors and examiners.
Our team is comprised of a group of certified individuals in the areas of trust administration, estate settlement, retirement plan management and investment management. With combined financial experience of over 250 years, our team has the capacity and expertise to provide personal services tailored to your financial needs. We have offices located in Santa Rosa, Roseville and Silicon Valley.
