Be a Part of Our Legacy

Our Legacy Information

The Doyle Legacy

The Doyle legacy is the foundation and cornerstone of who we aspire to be, and it will continue on long after we are gone.

Exchange Bank’s story began in the late 1800s. Father and son Manville and Frank Doyle recognized the need for a new kind of bank-one that promised to be locally-owned-to serve as a philanthropic leader in the community and to act in the best interest of each and every client, no matter how big or small the account. Today, Exchange Bank continues to operate on the Doyle’s core values of commitment, respect, integrity and teamwork.

We believe that investing in people, business and community is the key to building a strong future. This is why we support our communities with our money, time and talent. We believe that everyone is entitled to be treated with fairness and respect. Our employees are charged with the responsibility of representing our values within the organization and in the community.

Our business is grounded in trust. We are committed to acting with the highest standards of integrity and character. We are known as people who care about our customers, our company, our communities and one another.

Join us in being a part of something bigger…join the Exchange Bank family.

Give a WOW peer recognition program

Our employees work hard every day to ensure our internal and external customers have a superior customer experience. The Bank’s Give a WOW peer recognition program is our way to recognize each other for the AWESOME that happens at Exchange Bank every single day.

Exchange Bank’s Give a WOW program is a fun, easy and effective way for employees to give (and receive) recognition and awards. The recognition feed gives employees the ability to see all of the great work going on within the organization and allows them to interact by “applauding” and adding comments to the praise that an employee has received. Award recommendations earn points that can be spent in the company store, donated to one of our recognized corporate charities or redeemed for a variety of gift cards-the appreciation just keeps on flowing!

Give a WOW brings Exchange Bank’s core values to life, helping us to build the culture we want to be known for!

Charitable giving

Our co-founder Frank Doyle set Exchange Bank’s bar for charitable giving with a simple piece of paper-his last will and testament. Upon his death in 1948, Frank Doyle’s controlling shares of Exchange Bank common stock were placed into a perpetual trust to assist in the education of  “…worthy young men and women attending Santa Rosa Junior College.”  Today our community knows it as the Doyle Scholarship. Since 1948, the fund has provided over $100 million to more than 140,000 students.

“Exchange Bank’s legacy includes a commitment to community support. Our employees embrace our culture of giving back, donating thousands of hours of their own time and talent year-round to fundraise and support local charities and nonprofit organizations,” said Troy Sanderson, president and CEO.
